2021 Spring Newsletter

We hope that you and your families have been safe and well throughout this winter. As a camp, we are looking hopefully to 2021 as a year of growth. Growing and building who we are as a camp from a mission and guest standpoint, but also with projects and plans for the future. The Spring retreat season is light, but summer and fall reservations are coming in quickly . We are excited to share this update and what the summer and fall have to offer!

Camper Scholarship Needs

Camp is more important than ever before and our hope is to offer the experience regardless of financial constraints. We are seeing an increase in camper scholarship requests due to COVID-19, and plan to meet that need. Our goal for 2021 is to raise $18,000 for the scholarship program, which will send over 50 campers to camp this summer. Join us in giving more campers the opportunity to grow in their faith, self-esteem and in community with others.

Volunteer Assistance and Workdays:

We do have some minor maintenance, clean-up and repair projects and welcome the extra hands to complete the work. Listed below are some scheduled opportunities for you, your youth group, small group, or anyone else who loves the outdoors, to join the fun.

  •  Everyday from now until April- Maple syrup prep and bottling assistance
  • April 10th- Pathways and parking, installing signage
  • July 17th- Mid-summer camp repair and maintenance
  • November 14th- Clean-up and assistance with closing camp for the season

There are many other projects and ways to help, if you or your church is interested in funding or lending your skillsets or resources, please let us know! We'd be happy to work with you!

Thank you for your never-ending support! Let's make 2021 a great summer!
