Genesis Lodge (Dining Hall)
Genesis Lodge, which can seat 100+, is our main dining facility. It is equipped with a nice fireplace, is fully heated and is often used by groups as meeting space.
Promise Room (Chapel)
The Promise Room is adjacent to Genesis Lodge. Groups can enjoy meals in the Genesis Lodge and move directly into the Promise Room for meetings and large group conferencing. The Promise Room is equipped with men's and women's restrooms.
Brown Retreat Center
The Brown Retreat Center can host 14 people overnight.
Our cabins are equipped with a shower, two sinks and bathroom. They are designed to sleep 14-16; or up to 20 persons with the use of cots (supplied). They are fully winterized.
View the facilities slide show above for a look at these unique and fun housing units. Each holds 14 persons. Yurts are not heated and occupants make use of the central shower house on the back side of our dining lodge. They are a fantastic alternative to people looking for something unique, for youth or smaller groups. Our yurts are equipped with full electrical service, lights and a nearby water source.
Outpost (Shelter, Pavilion, Bathhouse, and Central Fire Circle.)
Outpost is our primitive camping area. Shown above are two AT shelters that sleep 8 each. Also, there is plenty of space to set up tents. Outpost has a small pavilion for cooking and gathering and a bath house with restrooms and showers. There is an adjacent field for athletics and group games. If you would like to truly camp, Outpost is a great alternative to the main camp area. Unlike going to the state park, Outpost provides a completely private camping experience for your group.
The amphitheater is centrally located in the main camp area and seats up to 200 persons. It is equipped with electricity. This is a great area for large group gatherings and firesides.
Pleasant Hill Lake
We are located on the 850 acre Pleasant Hill Lake in Perrysville, Ohio. We offer canoes and kayaks for groups to rent and have a private beach front on the lake. There is swimming in season at the lake. Groups are required to provide their own lifeguard. Those blessed with a boat find Pleasant Hill a great lake for waterskiing and jet skiing. The fishing is on and off, but good anglers usually can pull out some largemouth, or saugeye. Crappie holes are located throughout the lake.
